Cellular Phone Crank Callers And Reverse Phone Search

By Marc Marseille

We've all experienced it - the silly phone calls. You pick up your phone. And there's no answer. Or you pick up your phone and hear someone in a disguised voice. Or you pick up your phone and hear a food order taking place. No matter what the scenario is, we've all been phone-pranked at one time or another. If you want to find out who's been on the other line, you'll need to do a reverse phone lookup.

A reverse phone lookup is used to call the person that last called you back. This technique is particularly good for calling someone who blocked their number when they called you. They most likely blocked their number by using the code "*67" or "star six seven" before calling you. The reverse phone lookup will get their number anyway and call them back for you.

To bypass the blocked number, use the code "*69" or "star six nine." Press call and this code will give you the ability to call back the number that called you last.

Ha! You'll find out who's been calling your phone and hanging up or making silly pranks. They'll never see it coming. If you want to be spiteful, you can prank them back. But, the right thing to do is to politely ask the person to stop what they're doing.

Reverse phone lookup is also used for more practical purposes. Some people don't have caller ID on their house phones. So, it's a simple way to call back your friend without looking for their number in the address book. It also shortens the time it takes to make phone calls for numbers that are complicated or long.

Whatever your reason for using it is, the technique is simple. Anybody can use it. Just click the three buttons and call. - 22787
