Linksys Wireless Router - Free To Move About

With technology today, the Internet is a huge part of our lives. The majority of people use the Internet on a daily basis and most use the Internet many times throughout the day. With the popularity of laptops and their ease of use and mobility, there is a want for more freedom and to go further. With a Linksys wireless router, there is total freedom. You can connect to the Internet from any room in your home and still enjoy the same connection speed you would otherwise.

As a leader in their field, Linksys is the manufacturer of popular routers to include wireless routers. Linksys has a few versions of their wireless routers out for sale. The Wireless-G Home Router is a smaller and slower router. The Wireless-N Home Router is an upgraded and faster version of a wireless router. The Wireless-N allows more computers and wired devices to be connected without sacrificing speed.

There is also the Wireless-N Home Router. The Wireless-N is the larger, faster and more upgraded version of the wireless routers. This version also allows a number of devices to be used at the same time off the same wireless router. All will then be wireless.

In addition to allowing you to access the internet from any room in your home, a wireless router has many other built in features. There are 4 Ethernet ports that are built in that allows up to 4 other wired devices to be used on the wireless server.

Besides allowing you to access the internet without having any cords, a wireless router offers a few more features that are beneficial. It has built-in security and has firewall protection. The router is also encrypted so as to not let any outsiders to use your internet signal without your knowledge. The Wireless-N router also has 4 different Ethernet ports to let up to 4 different devices be used through the wireless router.

Any office that you go into will have an overflow of computer equipment. A wireless router will take up space but very little. These routers are very thin and very short but are very powerful letting up 4 four devices be powered off of one router but still have the same speed and connectability.

Wireless routers, such as a Linksys wireless router, can be purchases just about anywhere computers and electronics are sold. With a wireless router, you are no longer confined to a desk to use your computer and you are now free to use your Internet anywhere in your home. - 22787
