A Wire Closet Organizer is a Great Choice

By Melanie S. King

The most widely used closet organizer system is the wire closet organizer. They are perfect for almost any type of storage solution in any room of the home. They are so popular due to their extreme reliability and availability to help with almost any storage need, from pantries and bedroom closets, to garages and basement workshops.

You need to make sure that the type of organizer you use fits your particular needs. If you are in a metro rental and on a tight budget, the least expensive, and the least construction intrusive is the wire closet organizer. Visually appealing and strong, these closet organizers are simple to construct and pull apart, allowing you to remodel large closets in only a few hours time. Other types of organizer systems may require construction knowledge (and permission from your landlord). No mater what type of system you choose however, an organized closet is always better than a garish storage pile.

Wire closet organizers go together and come back down with ease. They are also strong and look good. If you need to put up an organizer in just a few hours, the wire organizer is the right choice for you. They can be installed with a minimal number of tools so a trip to the hardware store for things like saw blades is not necessary and your landlord will be pleased with that.

While people assume that wire will wrinkle or crease you clothing, this fear can be eliminated through the use of shelf liners. Not only do shelf liners help prevent creasing and wrinkles, but they also help to curtail dust settling on clothing below the wire racks and the possibility of dust mites that comes with it. It is extremely important to protect your stored items from damage of any kind.

If you are concerned about the wires leaving creases on your clothes, there is a simple remedy. Use shelf liners right on the wire shelves and you won't have any problems with this. Most people use shelf paper on regular shelving so there is no reason why you shouldn't use it here as well.

If you are a home owner, you first choice might be to install a traditional wooden closet organizer. However, if you think there may ever come a time when you would need to change your closet around or possibly even move to another closet, a wire closet organizer is probably the best choice for you too. - 22787
