Reasons You Should Hang On You Should Your Windows Xp Software For The Fore Seeable Future

By Andrew Johnson

With Windows 7 Software available now a lot of people are wondering if they will need to buy a new operating system. I have decided to wait myself and I thought I would share my reasons with anyone who may be confused by the changes. If you are looking to buy an operating system the Windows XP software may still be the better choice.

Vista has come down in price some and is newer than XP but Vista had a rocky start and just wasn't what everyone had though it should be. It caused most systems to lag due to limited memory and most people were not impressed. There were also a lot of compatibility issues with Vista and a lot of people couldn't run their favorite programs until they were fixed.

Linux is an operating system that I personally like to make fun of. I even read one article suggesting finding a user group to join for users of Linux. This program is more for programmers and those with a lot of tech knowledge. At the very least you need a lot of time to spend to get the grasp of using it which I don't have.

Windows 7 has had some great reviews and I am hopeful that it will be a big hit. With any new system there will be a few bugs and some things will need slight modification to work correctly but these can usually be fixed relatively quickly. The big problem with this is that the price is still a bit high for some who simply want an operating system for their home computer or laptop.

Windows XP software was the answer to prayers for those who found previous versions lacking. This operating system is what we have come to know and feel comfortable using on our computers. Though there have been 2 new systems put on the market since XP was launched I think you will still be able to find this program on computers for a while to come.

The biggest problem with Windows XP software may very well be finding a replacement copy if you need one. This is tried and true and most will opt to stay with what they know for now. The prices may go up some as copies become harder to find and more people hold on to the copies they do have.

Until I know more about windows 7 I intend to stay with Windows XP software. To me it just makes more sense to keep the operating system you have when it still works perfectly fine. Of course it may not be long before XP is obsolete and new programs may not work correctly with the current software. - 22787
